  • Very well done indeed !!!
  • Love the weathering on the truck and the watermelons are fantastic.
  • Truck is terrific and I like all the produce and particularly like not having any red or bright colors...perfectly subtile...see it overdone so many times. Not everything prototypical looks good modeled...perfect example.
  • Thanks, guys! Carl, sounds good. Are you a Vermonter?

Here is the truck almost finished. Thoughts?

  • no Eric i only lived here for twenty years.
  • Carl, well at least you know enough about Vermonters to know that.
  • The fruit truck at work in P.F.

  • Nice view through the alley on the flooded street , fruit truck and the taxi (who has known better times...) Universal isn't that universal anymore without the U ....
  • Eric,

Great vignette. Neat produce truck and taxi make the scene very natural.

  • Eric. I know what you mean it has taken a while but now I am living with it. .......Carl......
  • Carl, the NE rule is: 2 generations in the local graveyard or you are an away person. Most of my friends have 5.

  • Hi Eric I saw that, of course mine had that too just not as visible because it comes out behind. I was going to make a socket but I thought that was a bit over the top.
  • Eric,

Great looking shed. As time allows please share photos of all four sides.

  • Joel, I was going for those orange connectors when I realized it was 1956!

    Dave, you got it, brother!

Terry, a man from my own heart! I'll take a cutie over a cord any day!

    Eric,

Great little track side shanty. Should look right at home on your layout. Nicely done.
Thanks for the additional photos. Great tool detail on the outside benches. Just right for my taste. Not overdone with items piled on top of other items in a mish-mash of junk.
What do you propose for the area under the open wall back shed roof?

    Thanks, Later, Dave
  • Dave, I was thinking storage for wood and pipe? You?
  • Eric,

I think what you ultimately store under the outdoor storage roof depends upon the final placement of the structure. If it ends up near the crossing shanty, for example, I might think about some misc RR ties, tie plates, a barrel of spikes, etc and possibly some cut wood for the pot belly stove in the crossing shanty.

  • I agree, nice little build here. Great detail on the details...or something like that!lol.
  • Ken, one more detail just for you. Thanks!

  • Love that tank cart, the big steel wheels just make it. Truck scene is flat out wonderful. Your "tarp" in both color and execution is perfect!...love the rope tie down...

  • Thinking about you dad, every day. Everyone else might have forgotten you, but your son has not.
