  • Obviously. We RARELY have chop unless in open water. Look at the Maine coastline. See a lot of open water?
  • well okay then, no improvement required.
  • Finally a few new photos.

  • Eric,

The signs in and on the buildings along with the vehicles and carefully weathered structures really set a mood. The shadows in your last photo make a viewer feel as though they were actually at the location.

  • These photo's are just fantastic Erik. Your weathering and and attention to detail is great.
  • Two more. Thanks, guys!

  • great shots of what looks to be a fantastic layout.
  • I got a whole bucket of WOW to give you on this. So much detail!
  • Thanks! It is coming. The huge yard should be cool.
  • I'm late to the party on this one and have a lot of scrolling to do. What I see is superb. The big NYC steam engine is always welcomed.
  • How many years have you been working on this layout?
  • Every time I look at Eric's layout, I discover new details. Just fantastic ,the real life scenes.
  • John, about 4 years. I had built a few buildings before.

  • Eric, your progress is excellent with an outstanding level of attention to detail. This inspires me to achieve comparable results.
  • Eric, there are no words that can describe your work. Not just the attention to detail, but the overall essence of each scene. It's easy to picture yourself walking down these streets. It's not a model, but an experience. Rick
  • Eric this one's for you!NYC Niagra
  • you should iivite allen keller over to video your layout. or the dorks at model railroader.
what are the overall dimensions of your layout?
  • John, Love the Niagra!

    Rick, Wanna get married?
  • John, for you!

  • Keb, so far it is 24 by 37 feet. But it might expand into another room. Why not, right?
  • Eric that's beautiful. I appreciate the great photo. Here's another few for you.Mohawk

  • John, nothing like BIG steam!
  • Very true Eric. I run UP big boys, Clinchfield Challengers, assorted PRR, N&W NH, a DM&IR Yellowstone and of course NYC. Every once in awhile I put it all away and run Conrail, CSX and NS with big freight cars.
  • Hey Kevin, if you have any influence with the "dorks" over at MR, please feel free. However, you will need to tag along for the visit as I'd rather just meet you, quite frankly.
  • Hevin, I tried my best here as the origional document was in Adobe. I used the snipping tool and then resized it like a photo. Hope this helps?
  • I just bought the Visionline Clinchfield Challenger. Of course it only worked for about 4 minutes. On its way back to Lionel.
  • Eric, that looks like a nice piece. I have 2 from MTH and one went back for repairs immediately. Programming them in DCC was a nightmare, so I finally gave up and run them as #3! As I don't run all my stuff too often they are holding up for the mmoment. Hopefully your locomotive comes back home soon?
  • Wish I had that space for a layout. Looks good for sure. Rick
