  • Eric. What is the year of your build ?
  • Love the walls and of course the electrical outlet. Great stuff.
  • Thanks for sharing this . The entrance wall is just fantastic. As are all the details.
  • Carl, 1956.
  • Eric,

Great to see so many realistic details being added to the over display. Just now noticed the venting transom windows. Previous views didn't make them so easy to see.

If you can't do a "Masse Shot" how do you put "English" on the cue ball to freeze it once it strikes the targeted ball or direct the targeted ball?

  • Dave, a masse shot is when the cue stick is used nearly vertically. It makes so much spin that the cue ball curves. The sign is only for idiots.
  • The freeze the cue ball, you use a stop shot, striking the cue just below center. A draw shot is lower, which will make the cue ball backup.
  • I guess I most often used a stop shot or a draw shot. But that was like 60 years ago now.

  • You are now the "Urban Legend!" Great stuff Eric.
  • Remember chalk cones?

  • Note the chalk cubes on the table, etc.
  • jebus......
    how'd you do the balls?
the joint down the street from me still has the chalk cone on a shelf next to the pool table just like you do. outstanding and insane detailing.

Do you provide magnifying glasses to admire these marvels ? Just explain the toilet in the poolroom...

And I do like and prefer your new profile photo. Makes you the 'Nice' guy now..
  • The toilet has not worked in years. Notice the water tank is empty and the board across the seat. Needs are met behind the poolroom.

  • Thanks, Keb. The pool balls are actually a bit small. They were cast into the white metal of the table, a gift from a friend.
  • Nice scene with the outhouse and all the debris.
  • The first brick building is now gone, replaced by the diner, which fits the space way better.
  • Great scene, I love the interior of the pool hall and the ghost marking on the table felt!
  • Great article. But you were already famous , certainly on this forum...
  • Awesome! Great article...
  • well done!! congratulations on your fame and penobscot falls, a drinking town with a fishing problem. clever. sounds a bit like my town. liquor licenses here are like playing cards....
  • Keb, totally joking about any fame. But you know that. This will become a feature in a major magazine next spring. Better get building!
  • Eric,

Nice article featuring some of your great modeling.
