I agree Leonard, I would leave as is. Looks nicely weathered with the details just showing enough without being overbearing. You actually obtained a random worn and blotchy appearance (stains) that is very hard to do and look as good as you have there. I for one really like it.
Hello Leonard I like to stick my beak in once and a while. I'm not half the modeller as these guys here but I think your ideas and craftsmanship are very good, looking forward to watch this build continue. I have learned more from these guys than any where else. Brett's kits are designed so well and winning results prove that. Your plan on this kit bash is excellent. Cheers, good on you. David C
Hi David, thanks for the compliment and advise. I couldn't agree with you more. Brett's kits are simply excellent. Hard pressed to find better. Some of the best molders on the planet congregate here and you can't help but learn and better your skills.
Thus far I think its taking shape nicely. One more door to hang and some exterior wall details and then assembly time. Still a lot of work left to do. Details, details, details, so many details, love it!
The interior closeup shows how well you did the worn wood effect for your floor. It looks like it has been worn smooth by thousands of boots over time. Great job.
