The Shipyard diorama was the first diorama I had built and the first model contest that I had entered into. To get a first place in the 18x18 class totally blew me away and I still princh myself every morning wondering how it happened.
I don't know how I can top that, but it sure will include a SWSM kit.
There is no such thing as beginners luck when it comes to winning an art competition. I do not know how other people view this craft but to me it is an art form. Thank you for posting pictures of your build. It inspires me to add more details to my shipyard as the construction progresses.
