When I started SierraWest 20 years ago, digital photography was still a process used only by serious professionals. It was all about film and the local drugstore's 1 hour processing. Back and forth I would go to get the best shots possible. Then it changed and a digital camera came into reach of the "common folks". Well the compass has shifted again. These shots were taken with my phone and processed with a $3 app on my ipad. Man this is fun...
I had a seat mate when I was returning to Seattle a couple of months ago who is a National Geographic photographer. He showed me some of his work and said he uses his iPhone almost exclusively now . . .

Not only is iPhone photography improving rapidly, it is so handy to carry such a great camera in a shirt pocket.
