Hello All;

News has been received that Geoff Nott has passed away. Some of you have seen his Red Stag Lumber Company, Muskrat Ramble and Leigh Creek layouts.

Condolences to his wife Jill and his friends.

    I only know of Geoff through his modelling.
    It was Muskrat Ramble that inspired me to start modelling again and to try and achieve the same level of skill that he had.
    Very sad to learn of his passing.

    I considered myself lucky to see his last work at the Narrow Gauge Convention in Melbourne at Easter.Unfortunatly the last section is still to be finished and was to be done later this year, hopefully his partner in the layout Michael Flack will finish it as a tribute to a truly great modeller who will be greatly missed.Oh, the name of the layout is Smugglers Cove based on the New England area of the U.S.
