Great to see an update from you John, a quick dusting as you say will get rid of those few minor spots. There's nothing like a beautiful proto pic to get some inspiration from.
Good job John. Glad to see you are back at the bench. The layout looks great. Brett's models really add to the scenes you are making. Taieri Gorge looks spectacular. Looking foward to more updates. Jim
Moving along with some good progress with the fuel depot.
Had a little trouble getting the white to react just right... lots more alcohol got it going just right ( I think)
But that in turn warped the clapboard badly, having to brace the individual walls. And there appears to be no brace as there was for the bunks houses?, having to make some corner braces to square thing up.
I was worried that I did not have the color right, but now it looks good to me and I am happy with the color. The pictures over emphasizes the green on some of the shingles, much better in real life.
Once the timber boards are on it should be real good...
I agree with Jim...the color and shades you achieved look awesome. I went on the web-site and looked at the color manual supplements and your color shades look spot on. That's a tough roof to do I suspect, and looks like you nailed it....well glued it...you know what I mean. Keep us updated...-K

Porch, dock and fence.
Obviously the dock needs more nail holes.
Fence still needs nail holes
I will come back and do the smoke stack ect later on. I will do all the structures at once.
