I've finished Scotia Supply. It was an enjoyable kit to build. I added a covered dock to the left of the main structure. I think it balanced the overall structure and allows me to add more details, something I enjoy doing. I tried to construct the chain link fence, but it turned out miserable. I've tried making them before with similar disastrous results. So I decided to build a wooden fence instead. Here are photos. Enjoy!
Wonderful build of a classic SWSM kit Tom! You made it your own with all the great details and scenes. Chain link fences are certainly character builders that's for sure...Well done my friend.
Such a great job Tom, I love all the details and scenes around the structure that 'tell the tale'. You did a wonderful job on the structure itself, "worn but working". I'll enjoy going back and studying these pics closer after I eat. Really nice work.
Absolutely beautiful. The personal add-on's are great and made it even better. Try to make some photos outside in open air with a nice nature background . Even more better
Thanks for the nice comments guys. Appreciate the support. Ken, character builder is an interesting way to describe building the chain link fence. JenS, I can't take credit for the extra dock. I saw that somewhere and liked it so decided to incorporate it into my build. Robert, where I live isn't very conducive to taking pictures outside. It is a new subdivision and the landscape isn't very developed yet. The back yards are all wood fences so the background wouldn't be very interesting. I'd have to transport everything to a near by park for a decent background.
