  • Outstanding!
  • Now that's freaking cool! I mean I knew how small it was but it's amazing to see like that. Thanks for the extra pic!

Such a joy to see one of these beauties looking so good.
  • Can't wait to get mine!
  • Thanks guys! It was a fun build, but everything fit together so well it just took a little patience to assemble. Thanks Brett for creating these great projects.

HO scale ???? Just awesome !!!

A question, are they brittle those 3D prints or is there a certain flexibility in them?
  • No, they are not brittle. I use a high strength tooling resin that is very flexible. Do keep in mind that the detail on these parts are very fine and to scale, so no matter what I made them out of they would be fragile. The 3D Printed parts are more forgiving than the metal castings.
  • Wow they look amazing !! and in HO,
I cant wait to get my hands on the O scale versions,

    Incredible stuff, very well done.
  • I can attest to the fact that the 3D parts are not brittle. On the HO mill engine I built there are many very small parts. First of all the parts fit very well together and do not need much adjusting. In fact the only adjusting I needed to do was remove the paint from parts that fit together because the tolerances were so close that the coat of paint made them not fit together. I CAREFULLY did some filing and drilling out of holes to remove the paint without breakage.
  • Just amazing. I too can't wait for the O scale versions
  • I see some that I want!
  • I agree with Joel.

"this one would be fun" he said with a smile.

  • Great news. I am envisioning a CB&Q flat car load of these beauties modeled in O-Scale.

A Special Tribute to my Mentor!
In the early 1970's I discovered the amazing "yellow box" kits of George Sellios. My favorite casting was the ubiquitous wooden barrel with handle. Here is my 3D Printed interpretation of that casting. They're available right now on my website in both HO and O scales!
  • Those turned out great.
