Like the other members who have responded I am enjoying and learning from your well illustrated and instructive build of Kit #315, The Water Tank and Handcar Repair Shed.

to appear...but I fully plan on finishing kit #315 first and foremost. It will all make perfect sense once I reveal the following builds...I build my kits on 1" foam, and then fit them in like puzzl

I got home from work tonight to find a parcel on my front porch bench that didn't have an Amazon logo on it.

My guess(hope) for the "missing kit, #313," is the final structure in the O-Scale Railroad Camp, The Boiler & Welding Shop.

To bring out the rivet, lettering and other details I used sponge make-up applicators. The paint was Vallejo Dark Rust (#302) along with Old Wood (#310) here and there for a little variety.

OK so I should know the answer to these - maybe the questions are a bit arcane, but I'm working on the single cylinder engine (#318) and I've been wondering about the following: fly wheels are used to
